Silicone Molds for Resin Coasters

Create handmade floral resin coasters and trays that are both elegant and functional with our complete resin kit. Join Christie Lothrop, the artist and green thumb behind MadPotters, as she shares her honed techniques for mixing and pouring epoxy resin into silicone molds while creating depth with layers of botanicals. To further customize your DIY resin trays and coasters, Christie shows us how to add metallic flakes, alcohol inks, and mica powder into the mold.

Customize your floral resin coasters with natural dried flowers and six additional alcohol inks. This is an add-on for the Poured Resin Workshop and makes the perfect addition to the original resin kit. In the workshop, Christie Lothrop shares how to make resin coasters with flowers using silicone molds. She also shows us how to incorporate metallic flakes, alcohol inks, and mica powder into our handmade resin coasters and trays.

Epoxy resin can be used for many different types of crafts and artwork.  The 32oz kif of epoxy resin includes 16oz of resin and 16oz of hardener that combine with an easy 1:1 ratio, allowing you to mix only the portion needed for each project. This is an add-on for our Alcohol Ink on Ceramic Workshop, where the resin is used to seal and protect the finished alcohol ink design. This is also an add-on for our Poured Resin Workshop, allowing you to create more resin coasters. Whatever your project, this resin is fast-curing, self-leveling, and allows for a working time of 40 minutes.
