Botanical Trio Punch Needle Kit

This punch needle kit is made up of 3 original plant-inspired patterns illustrated by Arounna Khounnoraj of Bookhou paired with 10 heathered Lana yarn skeins curated to complement. Using the included monk’s cloth and a non-slip 12” hoop, Arounna has designed 3 punch needle patterns inspired by her original punch needle workshop with The Crafter’s Box. The yarns included in this punch needle kit are meant to be shared across the pattern set to guide you but also allow for color customization as you work. We encourage you to explore! Please note that Arounna incorporated bits of her own yarn into her final pieces as well.
Your finished punch needle designs can be transferred to a traditional embroidery hoop for hanging, turned into a pillow, stretched on a frame and so much more.
The tools & materials included in this punch needle kit:
- One 12” non-slip hoop
- Three individual botanical patterns: Poppy & Tulip, Philodendron, and Wild Violet
- Ten 50g skeins of our single-ply Lana wool blend yarn sourced from Italy
- Three 14” x 14” pieces of Monk’s Cloth
This kit includes one specialized non-slip hoop, a wonderful alternative to stretching monk’s cloth on a traditional frame. Be sure to keep your monk’s cloth extra taut as you prepare each piece for punching.
