Large Hand-Wrapped Panel with Cotton Cord

Explore fiber art in a fresh new way as you create an all-white, large scale hand-wrapped panel using cotton warp cord. This is an add-on for Liz Wagner’s Hand-Wrapped Panel with Cotton Cord and, when combined with the original workshop and kit, has all the materials to make an oversized geometric wall hanging. If you would like to add some color to your project, pair with one of our colorful yarn bundles below. With a large structured grid panel, you can continue to explore all the wrapping, knotting, and weaving techniques from the original workshop as you create your own unique composition.

This kit comes with a custom hardwood maple frame to provide a clean and professional finish your beautiful panel. We’ve custom made these frames to fit your choice of panel size.

This fiber art kit includes:

  • Grid panel in the size of your choice: Large 37×18” or XL 48×24″
  • Custom hardwood maple frame to fit your panel
  • Cotton warp cord (6 skeins for Large, 9 skeins for XL)
  • Super glue, 2 tubes
  • Digital download pattern

Hanging materials are not included, this large piece should be hung with care and following best practices for your hanging surface (plaster, wood, etc). We love these panels leaning up against a wall on the ground or atop a credenza as an alternative to hanging. If hanging, always hang from the sturdy grid and not the wood frame.
