Mad weave is a triaxial weave. Whereas plain weave has horizontal weavers and vertical weavers, a triaxial weave has vertical weavers and two sets of diagonal weavers. In mad weave, these weavers are all at 60 degree angles and create patterns of stars, truncated triangles, hexagons, or blocks.
