The Crafter’s Box Canvas & Leather Toolbox

Our toolbox is back! We’ve customized a unique crafting carryall case for the maker. 

It has long been on our minds that a thoughtfully customized crafting toolbox would support our mission of #slowcrafting to keep our making needs/tools minimal while still offering the ability to accomplishing SO much. The idea of a Crafting Toolbox that could serve many storage, travel and craft organizing purposes was born.

You may remember our custom toolbox from last year, the special bag was loved so well it sold out continuously – we went back to the drawing board and added more space, more pockets, a thicker canvas and natural, raw leather handles that form a toolbox 2.0.

Our canvas tote is incredibly sturdy – she’s heavy duty enough to hold your favorite supplies conveniently while traveling (toss her into the back of a packed trunk or on the conveyer belt of an airport x-ray machine – take out those jewelry tools first!) but designed in such a way that this large tote is ideal for keeping in the home office or bedroom for easy access to your curated tools & materials for making. We’ve designed unique pockets (one such pocket is embedded with a grommet for no-tangle yarn access for knitting, crocheting, punch needling on the go!) to hold a variety of supplies.

• A sturdy black canvas body, overall measurements: 20 inches across the opening, 12 inches high, 4.5 inches deep
• Thick raw leather shoulder straps and an adjustable cross body strap
• Brass details
• Three large outside pockets to hold booklets, drawing pads and other materials
• A fully lined interior with a variety of pockets: medium-sized open pockets for supplies, a special fiber pocket to allow easy carrying of skeins with a zippered closure and a grommet opening for feeding yarn directly to your project (without risk of tangling), an additional elastic ‘tube’ style pocket for longer circular tools such as needles and crochet hooks but also fits a water bottle nicely

Each bag created for this project was ethically made in India by vulnerable women. Each woman is proudly paid a fair living wage and is given the opportunity for upward mobility and childcare.
