Weave like a pro with our custom-made 30″, 36″ and 48″ weaving swords. These maple wood pieces, created just for The Crafter’s Box, separate your warp threads and create a gap (or “shed”) on your loom. A masterfully-used weaving sword makes your beautiful design come together faster.
Also called “shed sticks,” these tools are easy to use: Simply weave your loom sword through the warp threads and turn so the sword is vertical. Now you have a nice, wide shed for laying your weft, without the constant over-under motion of weaving. Both sizes were made to pair with our Organic Weaving Premium Workshop and our Maple Standing Tapestry Loom.
