In this workshop, crafters will explore the art of creating miniature dwellings straight out of a fairy tale, complete with intricate details and twinkling lights. Sponsored by Sculpey and guided by artist Liz Wagner, young crafters will dive into the magical process of crafting a fairy house using air-dry clay, moss, sculpting tools, and a battery-operated tea light. From shaping the base to adding delicate moss accents and illuminating windows with soft, glowing lights, you’ll discover how to bring these charming abodes to life.

Sculpey air dry modeling clay
Sculpey sculpting tools
Sculpey acrylic clay roller
Moss (various)
Tea light

Liz Wagner finds joy in guiding crafters of all ages through the creative process. As a mother of five and kindergarten educator, she delights in the innate and uninhibited creative spirit that young makers bring to the workshop table.

Liz lives in sunny San Diego with her family of 7. She is crazy about her four chickens, gardening, and making something from nothing.
