Moroccan Throw Blanket

We’re exploring large scale stenciling through a unique collaborate with the skilled weavers of the souks of Morocco. We’ve commission a set of handwoven blankets with an artisan group allowing us to support local in the Marrakesh community – we are honored to collaborate to support their work and their livelihood through our Marketplace.

Lining two edges of the blanket are individually hand-rolled and hand-knotted pom poms, no two edgings (or blankets) are quite the same.

These blankets work beautifully as handmade gifts. Design your own pattern as instructed in Erin Dollar’s Large Scale Fabric Stenciling Workshop. Use your new blanket for curling up under while watching a movie, slouching over the edge of your bed, or to lovingly hang (and show off) in your living room.

This listing includes:

• a roughly 6×6′ handwoven white cotton blanket from Morocco
• black textile paint
• small foam brush

NOTE: Due to their handwoven nature, there may be inconsistencies in weave, slight color modifications (brown and pink strands of fiber occasionally make a very subtle appearance). Due to shipping, your pom poms may arrive a bit flat. Give them a strong shake upon arrival.
