MOEBE Natural Oak Float Frame

We’ve collaborated with the design house MOEBE in Copenhagen, Denmark to bring their natural oak wood float frames to our community. Moebe builds sustainably made home goods with long-lasting function in mind. This frame is perfect for displaying flat and two-dimensional art objects from pressed plants and photos to drawings.
Formed in 2015 by architects Martin de Neergaard Christensen, Nicholas Oldroyd and cabinet maker Anders Thams, Moebe designs and develops their own products in-house and into production.
Included in this listing:
- Your choice of frame in size: 5.8″ x 8.3″ (A5) or 8.3″ x 11.7″ (A4)
- Each frame consists of two pieces of acrylic glass, four side arms made of untreated oak and an industrial ‘rubber band’. The rubber band both holds the frame together and serves for hanging the frame on your wall.
Note: to protect the plexiglass during transportation (these travel a far distance), folio has been added to both sides of each plexiglass sheet. Please remove all four pieces of folio per frame before assembling it (or your plexiglass will have a milky look).

MOEBE is a Scandinavian design studio that creates products, furniture, and interiors in Copenhagen, Denmark. “Our products are designed with modularity in mind, they are component-based and can be repaired, assembled and recycled with ease. We strive to reduce our designs to their most simple forms. Developing new details and techniques for bringing different materials and elements together without simply the use of glue or welds.”
To care: Use hot water (if needed glass cleaner) and a soft cloth on plexiglass.
