Make More: Maroon Botanicals and Black & Gold Lidded Boxes

Create two adorable lidded boxes in two decadent colorways. This is an add-on for the Box Making: Lidded Box with Artisan Paper Workshop with Bari Zaki and, when combined with the original kit and required tools, has enough materials to make two additional lidded boxes. Each box measures 3″ x 3″ x 3″ and is adorned by an elegant duo of beads that creates the lid handle. The pre-cut artisan papers in these colorways feature deep jewel-toned botanicals, delicate geometric patterns, and black & gold florals. The custom bookboards and pre-cut papers are all ready to go, so you can get right into making! 

This lidded box making kit includes:

• Two bookboard custom sets with one corner spacer (you can use for both boxes)
• Two sets of pre-cut artisan paper for your box in two colorways; for the tray, interior bottom, exterior bottom, top lid, and interior lid
• Two wooden round beads
• Two seed beads
• Two cotton swabs
• Eight drafting dots

This project will require a few box making tools, listed below. These items are included in Bari Zaki’s Box Making: Clamshell Box with Fine Art Paper Workshop. 

• Bone folder
• Craft knife
• PVA glue
• Bridled glue brush
• 10″ triangle ruler
• Optional: self-healing cutting mat (or a surface where you can work, cut, and glue)
