Create one-of-a-kind plant pots as you explore white cement and large-scale molds, allowing for lots of creativity with color. Christie Lothrop, the artist and green thumb behind MadPotters, teaches marbling and layering techniques, how to work with molds, and finishing techniques to create unique pots and trays. This thoughtfully curated kit has everything needed to create several different plant pots and trays, including high-quality molds and pigment powders along with plenty of white cement mix.

This workshop includes:

The specialty tools and materials in our cement planter kit include:

• Large square pot mold, ~4.7x4.7x4,7"
• Large circular pot mold, ~5.9x4.7"
• Large rectangular pot mold, ~7.5x3.9x3.5"
• Large circular spiral tray mold, ~9.8" diameter
• Pigment powders, 25g each of: azure, fern, crimson, goldenrod, and papaya
• White cement concrete mix, 12 lbs
• Four pairs nitrile gloves
• Sandpaper, 100 grit and 80 grit
• Disposable face mask
• Five mixing containers, 3.5 cups each 
• Five wooden tongue depressors
• Five mixing knives
• Two plastic drop cloths
• Round tub, 80oz
• Two plastic cups, 16oz each

This is an add-on for the Colorful Hand-Poured Cement Workshop with Christie Lothrop, which focuses on larger-scale cement pouring. Bigger plant molds allow for more experimenting with pouring techniques, marbling, and layering. These hues would also create a stunning range of solid-color cement pots.

Experiment with shapes, colors, and molds in your plant pots with six pounds of white cement mix. This is an add-on for the Colorful Hand-Poured Cement Workshop with Christie Lothrop, which focuses on large-scale cement pots and molds. When compared to the gray cement mix used in Christie’s previous Hand-Poured Cement Workshop, this white cement is not fast-curing, meaning the work time is more relaxed.  In addition, marbled colors will have more vivid results. When used with the molds in the main workshop kit, 6lbs of white cement will make two large pots.

This is an add-on for the Colorful Hand-Poured Cement Workshop with Christie Lothrop, and pairs beautifully with the large circular cement pot. The maple adds warmth to the individual plant pot while the modern design and height enhance the depth of your overall plant display.
