Pibione Pillow Weaving Kit (Neutral)

Featuring our signature Lana Wool Blend from our mill partnership in Italy, this Pibione pillow explores the idea of converting traditional frame loom weavings into textile goods for the home.

Utilizing the same tools & technique as our original workshop to weave, let’s transform our work together into a pillow for the home. Working with thinner yarn means you can create even more intricate designs and patterns and this kit explores two neutral colors. With this materials kit, you’ll use the same loom, dowel, needle and technique as with the chunky yarn found in our original workshop. This add-on kit is accompanied by slightly adjusted instructions (with visuals) to guide you as you go.

Our Lana Wool Blend is designed and produced entirely in Italy through a family mill and features an incredibly soft blend of Merino wool, acrylic (for strength) and alpaca. It is both easy to care for and absolutely wonderful to work with. What makes this yarn unique and special? It’s a toss-up between the incredibly rich & variated colors (many of which offer a heathering) and its single-ply nature (woot, woot!). We’re ensuring it supports local and is priced affordably, all of which give it an edge on any other yarn we’ve come across.

This materials kit includes:

• two 50 gram skeins of our single ply, Lana wool yarn milled in Italy for The Crafter’s Box
• a skein of cotton warp string
• linen pillow backing
• a new intricate pattern with visual instructions for a neutral Pibione pillow

**Some sewing skills required. A machine will speed up the assembly of the final pillow but hand stitching is an option.
