Wet on Wet Watercolor | The Crafter's Box

In this workshop, we are learning more about the unique watercolor technique of 'wet-on-wet' painting to create beautifully blended botanical leaves. Artist Jenna Rainey of Mon Voir carefully walks through her favorite tools and materials as she reveals the application of building watercolored leaves from the ground up in her 30 minute video tutorial. Jenna is sharing 12 unique leaf templates to explore to create a full wall collage of different types and styles of watercolored leaves.

Jenna Rainey is the founder, creative director and lead illustrator and designer behind Mon Voir. She started her illustration and design agency out of a love for art that began when she was very little. With a passion for originality and a background in psychology, she strives to bring out the creativity in each student in a workshop and unique and elegant quality within every design and invitation. Beyond being a stationery boss lady, she shares with us that she is a terrible whistler, an avid coffee drinker and lover of details and history. Jenna's work has been featured in countless publications and wedding blogs including Nixon, Martha Stewart Weddings, The Knot, The Lane, BuzzFeed and her how-to watercolor book titled Everyday Watercolor published by Ten Speed Press.

We invite you to follow along with Jenna on Instagram to see more of her beautiful work. Happy creative making!
